Pond’s Energy Division is experiencing record growth and is seeking a Mechanical Discipline Director to lead our team at our Atlanta Headquarters office. The Mechanical Discipline Director is an experienced, senior level engineer that heads the department and is responsible for the technical quality and timely delivery of all work products through proper selection, training, development and direction of personnel. In additional to technical expertise, the position requires strong leadership, people management, and communication skills, and the ability to mentor and develop staff to their fullest potential. This position reports to the Director of Engineering for Ponds Energy Division.
Our clients include major Oil & Gas companies, natural gas providers, commercial airport authorities, airlines, air cargo and ground delivery providers and Department of Defense installations worldwide. Qualified candidates must have 15+ years’ experience, preferably in the consulting environment, in the design of liquid and gas pipelines, and liquid petroleum terminals. Additional experience in commercial and military aircraft fueling systems is a plus. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and registration as a professional engineer with the ability to obtain licensure in Georgia and other states as required.
