Prepare concept designs and programming studies working with project managers. Perform site visits and document field/site reports. Prepare design and contract documents in all phases. Research materials and building assemblies with basic knowledge of materials and methods. Research codes and apply them to project requirements. Knowledgeable and proficient in BIM using REVIT. Coordinate drawings and specifications with other internal and external disciplines/consultants. Assist with answering Requests for Information and reviewing construction submittals. May be required to work after typical hours as project requirements and company needs dictate. Assist with proposal development and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses. Develop and maintain positive team, customer and client relationships. AIA license is preferred but aspiring to be licensed.
Professional bachelor's degree (BArch) from a five-year college or university; or a master's degree in architecture. Plus 4 years' work experience. Experience in one or more of the following project types is a plus. Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veteranrs's Affairs (VA), Medical, Federal Agency, Industrial, Aviation, Higher Education or Technical Education.
