JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary duties of the Planner I are to collect, assimilate, develop, and manage facilities and land use planning, landscape design and mission requirements-related data for military and other federal clients worldwide. Participates in the development of constraints mapping and documentation in support of regional, urban, and military installation design. Prepares conceptual and schematic designs for institutional-level buildings, military installations and mixed-use facilities of all types, including development of high-quality illustrations for planning documentation. Participates in the preparation of data tabulations for generating project requirements. Participates in sustainability and resiliency planning for federal clients throughout the US.
Travel Requirement is 25% or 1 week per month on average including international.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The Planner I requires a degree in planning or related field and one to four years of professional planning experience (internship experience is applicable). Candidates possessing a master's degree in planning or a related field, professional training and/or certifications may substitute professional planning experience. AICP and/or GIS Training Certification is a plus.
