Job Responsibilities:

Pond is currently seeking a Senior Architect/Project Manager to join our Architecture Group, located in our Jacksonville, FL office. We are looking for an intellectually savvy and responsive person to complement our award-winning, growth-oriented firm. Qualified individuals who have their architectural registration (and preferably NCARB certification) should apply. Experience leading a design team through the design and documents phases, the construction administration phase, and client relationship and interface is required. Successful employees at Pond & Company share a team based operating philosophy and work with multiple disciplines assigned to a project.

Job Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have 10-20 years of architectural experience in an A/E focused consulting environment. Architectural registration is required. The position requirements combine technical knowledge, sysnthesis skills, leadership capabilities, and management acumen.

  • The business acumen to understand how the business aspects of architectural practice to allow us to achieve business success while delivering excellant services to our clients.

Knowledge of Revit/BIM as a primry tool of the industry is required for this position. Ability to develop/mentor and handle QA/QC responsibilities for an emerging group of Architects is a necessary part of this position. Additional Experience Requirements include a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree. LEED AP registration and working knowledge of LEED process preferred. Architecture license in Florida or ability to get licensed in Florida is required. Ability to periodically travel. Understanding of contracts, specification writing and project manual assembly.
